Youth News-November 2019

Hey all,
As we are getting into the holiday season I have been reminded of just how thankful I am for the goodness of God. In 1 Chronicles 16:34 the Lord tells us to give thanks, because He is good, and that His love endures forever. Boy is that true! God is so good to all of us! The holiday season can be a very busy and stressful time for many of us. We have so many things to do and not enough money or time to get them all done. In times like these I am reminded of God’s faithfulness to His people. Of course we will have some days that are better than others, but even in the low days God is good! I want to encourage you this holiday season to reflect on God’s goodness to us. Reach out to a friend in need and share the love and hope of Jesus with them.
In youth, on Wednesday nights, we are continuing our series “Fully Devoted Follower.”  We are looking at what it means to truly live our lives in the service of Jesus! It has been as awesome time of study, engagement, and reflection. We are also going to be participating in Parkview's annual Thanksgiving Outreach: Project 25:35. Project 25:35 gives our students the opportunity to help a local family in need. Over the next couple weeks, we will be collecting food items to take to a family in need. We  provide a Thanksgiving meal and want to love on the people around us.  This gives our students an awesome chance to do just that.
If you have a student in the 7th-12th grade I would love for them to come visit. I am praying for all of you and looking forward to what God is going to do in the life of our student ministry and this church!
