Worship

Join us for our worship service at 10:30 am every Sunday morning.  We have a blended service of contemporary music and traditional hyms - something for everyone!  Kids ages Kindergarten - 5th grade are dismissed before the sermon to an extended age-appropriate learning session.

God uniquely designs all of creation for His glory, which includes musicianship (Romans 11:36). As an instrument to facilitate worship music enriches our expressions of praise to God, for it is pleasant and fitting to sing songs of praise to Him (Psalm 147:1)
Worship ascribes to the Lord the glory due his name. (I Chronicles 16:27-29)

Worship is intentional, glorifying God with our minds and hearts. The more we know about God, the more we can love him, and the more we can care for others. (Proverbs 2:1-5; Psalm 9:1; John 4:23-24)

Worship is our response to the Lord’s splendor, sovereignty, and love. (Psalm 100, Psalms 96:9)

Worship is an act of intentional purpose, neither accidental nor ritualistic. It is our good pleasure to make much of Him. The Parkview Baptist Church worship ministry exists to model and facilitate biblical worship in a corporate setting. Our definition of biblical worship is the right response of the believer’s heart to God’s revealed splendor, sovereignty, and love.
